About ME

Hi I’m Rach

As a child and young person I wanted to be an actor. I’ve always been interested in people. What we say, how we behave and the beauty in our similarities and differences.

However, after completing my drama degree in my early 20s I felt unsure about myself and where I was going in life. I moved home after university and was feeling incredibly stuck in many ways- financially, emotionally, geographically and felt like I wasn’t doing what I wanted to do.

I spent years working in jobs that didn’t inspire me and that left me feeling lost and disconnected. I trained as a mental health nurse in my late 20s and have been working in a University support team for the last 6 years.

I have loved my time there working with young people, who are looking ahead unsure of their future and struggling with all things connected to their identity.

I am passionate about people getting to know themselves better and enabling possibilities. I love nothing more than helping people to feel empowered and feeling able to take control and make changes.

I experienced a big change in my personal life in my early 30s which made me question everything. That’s when I found life coaching. Coaching helped me to gain perspective and learn about myself, so I could really feel inspired about moving forwards.

My current life centres around my family and two children, but as anyone will know sometimes that can also leave you feeling lost. My youngest is now 4 and I finally feel able to invest in myself again and explore who I am and what I want for my life. I am a work in progress!

We all go through transitions in life and these can be significant changes, but having the space to redefine what you want can be really inspiring.

If you feel disconnected from yourself; coaching can be a really great place to explore and discover real connection again.

How do you know if I am for you?

I am creative, curious, honest and compassionate. I will give you a safe place to explore your fears. I also have a good sense of humour.

I truly believe that understanding yourself and learning how to navigate in this world are the only things over which we have control, so taking that step can be empowering. I will support you to get there. I will help you to nurture your self compassion.

Who I work with:

I have a particular interest in working with:

  • young people (18+)- who want to explore their identity

  • parents - who want to reclaim their identity

But honestly, I work with anyone who is struggling to navigate change or transitions and people who are feeling stuck and wanting to move forwards with their life. People who are feeling disconnected from themselves and want to find their way back.
